Attendance and Make-ups
Attendance will be taken every day for each class.
Students must arrive on time to all classes.
If a student arrives late to any class by 10 minutes or more, they will be asked to sit out for the session in order to prevent injury. PLEASE CALL AHEAD OF TIME IF YOUR RUNNING LATE TO CLASS.
The opportunity for make-up classes will only be given to:
Students who inform us by email, or phone, of the student's absence (due to injury or illness) BEFORE the lesson (by at least an hour prior to the class's regular start time).
Students are allow 2 make-up class due to illness or injury. These are not transferrable between siblings.
Make-Ups are unavailable for Studio Closures due to Federal and Studio Celebrated Holidays. This is reflected in the price of classes. LEDC studio closures are located under SCHEDULE TAB.
Make-up classes must be attended within 1 month of the initial missed class.
The Studio will need to be contacted to schedule a make-up.
All classes will be charged to your account regardless of absences or make-ups.
If the student is a no-show for a lesson, a master class, or a pop-up class, the full charge will be made to their account without the opportunity for a make-up.
If a teacher is a no-show for a lesson and a substitute is not acquired, all students will receive a make-up opportunity.
Teachers are subject to change. Any students who arrive to class and do not attend or leave due to a substitute teacher or change of instructor will not be granted a make-up lesson opportunity.
Class Policy
Students are required to wear appropriate dance studio apparel and appropriate dance shoes.
If unexpected inclement weather occurs, LEDC will send out a notification of class cancellations
NO OUTSIDE SHOES ARE ALLOWED IN DANCE ROOMS, ONLY DANCE SHOES ARE ALLOWED
No cell phones allowed during class
CHEWING GUM IS NOT ALLOWED MUST BE THROWN OUT BEFORE ENTERING THE STUDIO AND FOOD IS NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE STUDIO
Refreshments such as water or electrolyte are allowed in the studio and must be inside a tumbler or bottle

Registration Fees
All students are required to fill out a Registration form BEFORE taking any lessons with LEDC
Parents looking to enroll their child in our program can do so in person. The registration fee is $25 per student or Adult.
This Registration Fee is a one-time per-season fee for each person.
Tuition
Monthly Auto-Pay
- Please note that all Tuition is renewed monthly, on the 7th of each month, and will continue to be renewed and charged to your account until the season is over.
Please note that all paid fees and classes are non-refundable.
Tuition for Adults and Students is based on continuous enrollment.
3 Months Autopay
Please note if you choose 3 month autopay, Tuition is every 3 months and will continue until the end of the season
Bounced Payments - Any bounced payments or unsettled accounts will be charged 10% of the initially charged amount for a re-charge, and an additional 10% for every month left unpaid.
Program Withdrawal
Cancellation - You have the option to cancel any enrollment by contacting the studio. You will not be granted a refund if your card was already charged for the month, or if you received a service or goods before you initiated the cancellation process.
Refunds - No refunds will be awarded unless due to severe circumstances. In order to be considered, a formal letter will need to be sent to Light Everything Dance Complex and a meeting will need to be initiated by the founder of LEDC. If no claim is made after 7 days of cancellation, then any possibility of a refund is forfeited.

All students, parents, teachers, Adults and staff are asked to act in a respectful manner when posting on our online forum and social media accounts, while taking classes, observing lessons, and when interacting with one another.
Students should arrive on time to any and all classes, and be prepared when they enter the lesson, with proper attire
Please Note: Disrespectful and inappropriate behavior toward students, faculty, staff, and any members of LEDC will NOT be tolerated; and may be used as grounds for removal from LEDC classes
BULLYING IS NOT TOLERATED
Behavior in the Waiting Area is important because it directly impacts our dance classes, we kindly ask the following:
Individuals who wish to converse with one another, talk on phones, or watch videos are asked to LOWER YOUR VOICES OR LOWER SOUND if not, we kindly ask you to step outside to not disrupt the class. We kindly ask you to wear earphones or headphones if you're listening to music in the waiting area to not disturb class.
STUDENTS AND ADULTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TOUCH MIRRORS AND LEAN ON THEM. They are very sensitive and we kindly ask you to refrain from touching them
If a student needs to be taken out of class for any reason, please notify the front desk so that the teacher and student may be informed in the least disruptive manner to the class.
We kindly ask if a student is sick, is recommended that they stay home and recover for their well-being and others in the studio, just so we can avoid spreading the illness to other students or teachers. If a staff member notices that a student is visibly unwell during class, we will contact the parents and an immediate pick-up will be made. Once again we do not want to spread any illness to other students or teachers.

Individuals who are sick or who would like to mask up during the lesson are welcome to wear one.

We only offer make-up classes only to illness-related or injury. we DO NOT offer make-up classes for personal missed class.

If we are expected to have inclement weather, you will be notified of class cancellations as soon as possible

No gum chewing allowed in the dance space
No food is allowed in the dance space, only water or electrolyte drinks.
We recommend students use the restrooms before coming to class and changing before classes begin

BALLET Dress Code:
Girls: pink leather split sole ballet shoes, classic pink tights, black leotard, ballet skirt (optional). hair pulled back off the face in a neat and secure bun.
Boys: black split sole leather ballet shoes, white form fitted tank top and black shorts/sweats/tights.
~ CONTEMPORARY Dress Code:
Girls: beige half soles, or barefoot dark tan footless tights (optional), any color leotard or sports bra, any color jazz shorts, hair pulled back off the face in a neat and secure ponytail or bun.
Boys: beige half soles, or barefoot, any color form fitted tank top, black sweats or black shorts.
TAP Dress Code:
Girls: dark tan split sole slip on tap shoes, dark tan footed or footless tights (optional), any color leotard or sports bra, any color jazz shorts, hair pulled back off the face in a neat and secure ponytail.
Boys: black split sole slip on tap shoes, black form fitted tank top, black jazz pants, black sweat pants or black shorts

Recital tuition
When is Recital - We offer a recital per year. Our Spring Recital is a held in May/June.
Fees - Recital Fees vary, and usually include the following:

Refunds - We do not offer any refunds for Recital. By enrolling and paying any Recital-related fees, you acknowledge this policy.

Members and Visitors of LEDC authorize and agree that Light Everything Dance Complex may take photographs and/or videos of parent or child as needed for its record keeping, advertising, social media and/or public relations projects, such as, Light Everything Dance Complex publications or advertisements, including on our website and various social media sites. To ensure privacy, specific names of children will not be included. No financial compensation shall be given for use of any photographs or video and will not be compensated.

Members and Visitors of Light Everything Dance Complex and its affiliates and employees are not responsible for any injuries, or illnesses in and/or around the studio, dance rooms, waiting room, or parking lot.
Members and Visitors also understand Light Everything Dance Complex is not responsible for lost or misplaced items and/or articles.
